The friendly match, to mark the World Down Syndrome Day, featured the children accompanying both referees and players. They were holding flags bearing the slogan "Voice Association" in the middle of the pitch.

Voice students showcased their own skills at half-time to create awareness about the need for corporate social responsibility and encourage other young people to participate in activities that contribute to the development of society. A film was also screened on the occasion.

During the event the students showcased their physical skills by performing jumps and zigzag runs as well as demonstrating their shooting skills, to the delight of the fans.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Haleem Badawi, a physical education teacher at the Voice Schools, said his students are physically fit and their spirits are high. He said they are skilled in football, basketball, gymnastics and others.

The association seeks to provide specialist education and quality to children in all parts of the Kingdom and offers their parents and specialists training in the field of education for children with Down syndrome.

It also seeks to increase community awareness of their needs from the age of birth until the age of 21 and their families in addition to those who take care for them, and raise the level of efficiency of those who deal with them through specialized education.

It also works for their needs and provides an opportunity for them to harness their potential that would help them to become productive in society.
