- The government of Pakistan has revised the baggage rules offering more incentives to Pakistani remittance card holders living abroad.
Now Pakistani nationals holding foreign exchange remittance cards would be able to utilize the duty credit available under Rule 5 of Baggage Rules 2006 for unaccompanied baggage including those seven items with fixed duty i.e., television, deep freezer, refrigerator, microwave oven, cooking range, washing machine and air conditioner.
The Federal Board of Revenue, government of Pakistan, revised the baggage rules through a circular dated Jan. 30, 2012.
