- Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) launched a new and exclusive service for the deaf and the mute people with special needs; where the service enables people with special needs to easily access religious and cultural content via their mobile phones.
With this move, Mobily has highlights its special interest in fulfilling the needs of its subscribers through integrated services.
This service is offered as WAP content; to be sent on a daily basis, in the form of sign language audio and video clips, containing some of the well-known religious scholars such as Al-Sheikh Mohammed Mtwali Al-Shaearawi, and preacher Tarik Al-Sweidan; in addition to many other contents related to cooking, poetry, alongside the interpretation of dreams and much more.
Mobily said that it is offering the service to prepaid and postpaid subscribers free of charge for one week. Those who wish to subscribe to the service can send the desired channel code to 606248.
With this new service, Mobily is emphasizing its keenness to introduce innovative technologies that serve the needs of all its subscribers especially those with special needs.
It also highlights its eagerness to harness its technical abilities to raise religious and cultural awareness among people with special needs as well as entertain them in their free time.
