- Sulaiman bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Group CEO of NAS Holding, the mother company for nasair, announced appointment of François Bouteiller as chief executive officer of nasair.
He said the appointment is part of an extensive process including appointing a number of senior staff to support the tasks of leading and executing nasair’s expansions strategy.
In his first statement after his appointment as CEO of nasair, François Bouteiller said that it is time for nasair after 5 years of operation to open widely into the global perspectives and work to diversify revenue sources to increase profitability.
In the past 25 years, François Bouteiller gained experience in schedule, charter and corporate aviation both on management and instructor pilot roles.
He began in VIP operations on DC-9 and Lear Jet based in Singapore before he was involved into special missions for the Red Crescent during the first Gulf War and the UN in Afghanistan.
In 1996, he co-founded and launched Swiss world, a long-haul schedule airline based in Geneva operating B767 to serve mainly New York.
He has spent over 5 years in the Swissair Group on MD-80 and Avro fleets (Swiss) as pilot and dealing with special projects.
In 2003, he co-founded and launched Flybaboo, a regional airline operating fleets of E190 and Dash 8-Q400 aircraft, serving as COO, co-CEO and instructor pilot.
