The embassy has invited alumni of Australian universities in the Kingdom and the representatives of top Australian universities as well as members of the Australian business community to attend the event and to participate in the launching ceremony of the association of Saudi graduates of Australian universities (SADAGA).

“This event is a chance to showcase Australia’s world-class higher education institutions, and honor the impressive achievements made by Saudi graduates of Australian universities,” said Australian Ambassador Neil Hawkins, here yesterday.

Referring to the simplified procedure of visa issuance at the Australian mission in the capital, Hawkins said that “student visas are generally granted within days.”

Over a dozen Australian universities have signed agreements with Saudi universities in the fields of research, teaching and curriculum, with more agreements under way.
