Quoting the embassy, the ministry said brokers had embezzled a citizen’s $45,000 by promising to arrange a kidney transplant operation for his father. "Though a long time has passed, no operation has been conducted so far," the statement said.

The ministry asked all Saudi citizens wishing to undergo a kidney transplant in Pakistan to not pay money to brokers for their own safety.
