Speaking to Arab News after the inauguration of Shifa Al-Azeeziya Medical Center on Prince Miteb (Arbaeen) Street, Abdul Rahman emphasized his group’s determination to make available quality health care services to the public at affordable rates.

Shifa Al-Azeeziya has clinics in almost every specialty manned by experienced doctors of different nationalities.

“Our clinics are much ahead of many other health service providers in terms of services,” Abdul Rahman said. “The secret of our success is that we anticipate changes, instead of reacting to changes.”

Indian Consul General Faiz Ahmed Kidwai opened Shifa Al Azeeziya in the presence of well-known Keralite singer V.M. Kutty, Idea Star singer Imran, community leaders and health officials.

Abdul Rahman said the new clinic would provide free consultations in gynecology and pediatrics for one year for the first 100 patients who apply. It also offers attractive discounts on all other services as a token of appreciation for the community.

The managing director stressed his group’s social responsibility. "We make sure that no person in the community is denied treatment for economic reasons. Our clinic has always welcomed and supported the initiatives taken by various social and welfare associations in providing health care services for the weaker sections of society.”

Speaking about the new clinic's specialties, he said: "Our ophthalmologist Dr. Swetha Julka is an expert in conducting special eye yoga therapy for various vision defects. Total skincare solutions for ladies are provided by dermatologist Dr. Dimple Tiwari. Gynecologist Dr. Usha Madhav specializes in infertility treatment and is experienced in treating stress and all other general diseases affecting women.”
