Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and senior ministers will greet him at the ceremony to be held in the city marking the successful conclusion of the 'Kerala Yatra' which touched 1000 villages and cities across the state during the past two weeks.

Half a million of his followers from across the state are expected to converge in the city for the concluding ceremony at the Chandra Shekhar Nair stadium in the hearth of the state's capital. The organizers have also chartered a special train from the northern town of Kozhikode where the scholar's group is headquartered.

"Around 25,000 volunteers in special uniform will take out a march marking the beginning of the valedictory function which would represent Kerala's plural society," said Saifudheen Haji, one of the organizers. "The entourage was accorded reception at 61 centers during the Yatra aimed at creating awareness against social evils and spreading peace and harmony".

At the march named ‘brotherhood rally,’ Musaliyar, will administer the oath of brotherhood. 'Rousing humanity' was the theme of the statewide tour during which he met people from all walks of life with the message.

Power Ministers Aryadan Mohammed, Health Minister VS Sivakumar, Congress party's state unit president Ramesh Chennithala, Dr. Shashi Tharoor MP and other leaders will address the gathering along with Major Archbishop Baselios Mar Clemis and Shanthigiri Ashram organizing secretary Gururathnam Gyanathapaswi.
