Addressing the ceremony, Rector of Prince Sultan University Ahmed Yamani lauded the support given by Prince Salman to the university. He also touched on landmarks achieved by the university in terms of preparing national cadres or provision of training or academic programs.

Prince Salman gave a brief speech on the occasion and expressed pleasure over meeting university staff and students.

He thanked Allah Almighty for making the Kingdom a country based on science and knowledge since its establishment. He also appreciated the efforts of former and current kings who showed dedicated care toward their religion, nation and citizens.
