Emirates, one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, reaffirmed its commitment to the world’s leading travel trade fair ITB Berlin, which runs from March 6-10, by returning with its show-stopping giant, the rotating globe stand.
For the first time, the Emirates globe stand at ITB will showcase its new Hello Tomorrow brand platform. This year will bring about the introduction of animated interactive and digital features for visitors to experience. A striking visual display of large screens embedded in the circumference of the globe panels will showcase the bespoke Hello Tomorrow film. The three-minute film will be played continuously at the airline's exhibition stand.
"Visitors will notice a dramatic transformation of our globe stand this year. The Hello Tomorrow brand platform underlines the confidence we have in our product, service and people, and the vision we have for the future growth of the airline. The world literally meets at ITB Berlin so this event is a perfect platform to demonstrate these corporate values,” said Thierry Antinori, Emirates’ EVP, passenger sales worldwide.
In addition to the showcase, regular visitors to ITB will also notice a range of new interactive features that have been introduced to the Emirates globe this year. Six 40” digital multi-touch screen displays will replace traditional brochure stands on the outer edges of the platform, inviting visitors to vote for their favourite Emirates destinations on an interactive world map.
Also, cabin crew will be featured on the screens, talking about their recommendations for each destination. The displays will have a direct link to Emirates dedicated social media pages, such as Facebook, its official YouTube channel and Google+.
“Besides showcasing the premium Emirates A380 experience, the ground floor of the globe stand will be more interactive at ITB,” added Mr Antinori.
