Sheikh Abdullah Al-Munie, a consultant at the Royal Court and a member of the Council of senior Islamic scholars, recently inaugurated a branch of National Commercial Bank (NCB) in Shaqra. Al-Munie is also a member of the bank’s Shariah committee.
The bank also opened another branch in Arqa, bringing the total number of branches across the Kingdom to 371. Among these branches, 191 are in the Central and Eastern Provinces including 35 branches for women.
In Riyadh city alone, NCB has 79 branches including 15 for women that provide all types of services including banking, finance and investment services in line with Islamic banking principles, an official statement said. NCB has constructed the new branches following advanced architectural designs, the bank pointed out.
The design has taken into consideration the bank’s efforts to establish stronger relations with clients. The new branches have a special section for customer care.
