Oman Air has launched its new air pass in celebration of the sultanate’s National Day.
The new Oman Air Pass of the national carrier will offer regular travelers between Muscat and Salalah the chance to pre-purchase an online booklet containing eight one-way tickets with discounts of up to 30 percent off the standard fare for travel in economy.
Customers can use the tickets on either Muscat to Salalah or Salalah to Muscat flights and can be gifted or used by all members of the family and friends. The tickets must be booked online 48 hours prior to flight.
Oman Air also announced that users of the Oman Air Pass will additionally earn 460 Sinbad miles in celebration of Oman’s 46th National Day.
Oman Air states that it has always been dedicated to facilitating the highest quality of travel between Salalah and Muscat with 11 flights a day on its Boeing 737, Boeing 787 and Airbus 330 aircraft.
Earlier in June, Oman Air provided a substantial boost to its services to Salalah with the addition of an extra 23,000 seats to the principal city of Dhofar during the key summer months of the khareef (monsoon season), when the weather is substantially cooler than the rest of the country and the landscape turns green.
In addition, Oman Air has increased capacity between Salalah and Dubai by 42 percent in 2016 to a record 71,176 seats with six daily flights.
These increases will see Oman Air offering a total of 317,600 seats to and from Salalah in 2016.
The new Oman Air Pass will enable regular travelers between Muscat and Salalah to make significant savings on their travel while continuing to enjoy Oman Air’s award-winning in-flight customer service. The booklets can be purchased online for travel anytime within six months of purchase.
