Aljomaih and Shell Lubricating Oils (JOSLOC) unveiled the world’s largest oil bottle containing 1,000 liters of Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 motor oil with PurePlus technology.
The bottle was unveiled at the Saudi International Motor Show in Jeddah in the presence of Guinness World Records manager for the Middle East and members of the local media.
Khalid Yassin, general manager for corporate sales at JOSLOC, said: “The success that we have witnessed at both Jeddah and Riyadh motor shows, and huge turnout of visitors on our platform, once again proves the effectiveness of our ongoing marketing efforts and strengthen our partnership with the world’s leading automakers.”
“We are very proud of the quality of the new Shell Helix product range of motor oil (HX3, HX5, HX5 AH, HX7, Ultra). We are also proud of setting a new world record.”
He said: “One of our main goals for participating in motor shows is to strengthen our relationship with our partners in the automotive sector, and to celebrate with them the 75th anniversary of Shell’s presence in the Saudi market.”
Through this achievement, JOSLOC aim at reinforcing their position as one of the largest lubricating oil producers in the Kingdom.
Shell PurePlus Technology produces base oil that provides enhanced viscosity, friction and volatility performance compared to more prominently used traditional base oils.
It helps extend engine life, reduce maintenance costs, reduce gasoline consumption, enhance fuel economy and enable better engine cleanliness.
