The Northern Gulf’s industrial B2B showcase will be hosting this year’s GIF Dialogue, a roundtable discussion with Bahrain’s leading industrialists, titled “The Future of Industrialization, A Needs Analysis.”
Led by the Bahrain Industrial Association, the GIF Dialogue takes place on Feb. 8 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center.
Darwish Mannai, Chairman of the Bahrain Industrial Association, said: “As an association promoting industrialization, we are excited by the opportunity to develop a dialogue between the industrial community, the government and the public in order to develop industries that will enhance the country’s economic diversification.”
Officials from Bahrain Industrial Association, Economic Development Board, Bahrain Development Bank, Majaal, India’s PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and National Academy for Professional Training will touch upon issues relevant to industrial development. The dialogue will look to cover a range of issues, such as development of industrial facilities, experiences of the Indian industrial development, industrial partnerships, financing industrial growth and development, and industrial growth forecast for Bahrain and training for industry needs.
“The GIF Dialogue series maintains the Gulf industry’s unique positioning as the GCC’s only dedicated showcase for industrialization,” said Jubran Abdulrahman, Managing Director of HCE.
The Northern Gulf’s leading annual industrial expo takes place under the patronage of Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, Prime Minister of Bahrain.
Gulf Industry Fair 2017 is sponsored by Aluminium Bahrain (ALBA) and the Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO), in association with NOGA. Majaal and NAFFCO will be supporting the industrial facilities and fire and safety sectors, respectively.
Supporting organizations for GIF 2017 include: AHK Saudi Arabia, India’s PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the German Saudi Arabian Liaison for Economic Affairs, the Saudi British Economic Offset Programme and Bahrain Industrial Association.
Attendance to the GIF Dialogue is free but requires pre-registration as spaces are limited.
