Saudi Arabia’s first virtual reality (VR) gaming hub and lounge is participating in the first-ever Saudi Comic Con, ahead of its opening in Jeddah in March.
VR Lounge is at booth EX90 at the show, which closes today. Visitors can experience virtual reality for themselves with 15-minute VR immersions; sessions can be pre-booked online and payments can be made at the booth.
Set to open at the beginning of March, the VR Lounge is located in Jeddah’s Al-Rawdah district. It is both a pioneer shop where people can experience frontier technology, as well as a casual lounge for users to chill between VR sessions and have a little ristretto and biscotti while they are waiting.
It promises a wide range of games and experiences, as well as a variety of booking types — 30 minutes or one hour, single or group bookings, and a variety of membership durations.
VR Lounge is a partnership by a group of hardcore gamers, marketers and fun-loving people set up to fill a void in the local entertainment and gaming industry — a void between the real and the virtual.
