AccorHotels has announced the opening of its newest property in the Middle East — ibis Styles Manama Diplomatic Area — in partnership with Action Hotels PLC.
Launched in response to significant demand for economy and midscale brands in the Bahraini capital, ibis Styles Manama also marks the 10th global collaboration between AccorHotels and Action Hotels PLC.
Olivier Granet, managing director and chief operating officer of AccorHotels Middle East and Africa, said: “ibis Styles Manama Diplomatic Quarter is a highly anticipated addition to Bahrain’s growing hospitality industry and to the ibis brand family. It is a pleasure to collaborate with our trusted partner Action Hotels for the opening of our first ibis Styles in Bahrain.”
Alain Debare, chief executive officer at Action Hotels, said: “We are pleased to introduce the award-winning ibis Styles brand to Bahrain, with the opening of a property designed to strengthen the kingdom’s hospitality offer in the economy and midscale segments.” He said: “Bahrain is an important market for us and this new hotel is strategically complementary to the existing ibis Seef. Both hotels are operated under long-term management agreements with AccorHotels and will benefit from commercial synergies and economies of scale.”
Situated in the heart of Manama’s main government, diplomatic and financial district, the 95-key ibis Styles Manama Diplomatic Area is now open to visitors seeking a property with a distinctive personality and design, at an affordable price.
The hotel comprises 95 rooms including 24 family suites, offering guests a warm and welcoming atmosphere coupled with the comforts of home. Guests can visit the hotel’s main restaurant, as well as enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast and à la carte menu around the clock. For corporate clientele, the hotel comes complete with a modern meeting room and coffee break area, while those looking to stay fit during their stay can visit the fully equipped gym.
Ricardo Rofail, general manager of the newly opened property, said: “Our doors are now officially open to business and leisure guests from around the world seeking to experience quality accommodation at an affordable price in the heart of Bahrain’s capital. Through its world-class amenities, modern-design and internationally renowned services, the ibis Styles Manama Diplomatic Area will undoubtedly work to bridge the gap in quality economy offerings in Bahrain.”
