Mini bags dominate Tous fall/winter 2017 collection

Spanish jewelry brand Tous’ FW2017 collection is all about the mini bags. Mossaic, Kaos Shock and Obrian, three of the brand’s most iconic models have been trimmed down in size to a bare minimum in order to create their “mini” versions.
“With their play of colors, volumes and textures, the mini bags achieve an effect that is fresh and visually striking to bring a colorful and chic touch to any outfit,” Tous said in a press release.
The jeweler is joining the new customizable trend with a collection of accessories that add a fun touch to any handbag. These include charms made from synthetic fur, articulated bear-shaped key rings and the micro version of the iconic Obrian that can be used as a charm to add a playful and personal touch to any handbag.
The company was founded in 1920 by Rosa Oriol and Salvador Tous. By focusing on a concept of innovative jewelry, the brand set itself apart from the traditional jewelry market.
Tous has a presence on five continents, with more than 500 shops in cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, New York, Miami, Shanghai, Tokyo, Moscow, Mexico City and Dubai. The firm generated sales of €403 million ($425 million) in 2016, which represents a 9.4 percent growth compared to the previous year.
