Hala Supply Chain Services (Hala SCS) has announced the opening of a client-centric warehouse facility spanning over 36,000 square meters in Jeddah’s 3rd industrial city.
The warehouse opened in October 2017.
Established in 2005, Hala Supply Chain Services offers services such as warehousing, transportation management and forwarding and clearing, in association with its partners — Arabian Hala Co. (AVIS), ILS, DSV, Oilwell7.com and Kumho Tires.
“As Hala Supply Chain Services continues to grow, we have built a best-in-class warehouse facility in Jeddah’s 3rd industrial city that will allow us to better serve our clients and to contribute toward Saudi Vision 2030 to make the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia a logistical hub,” a press release said.
It added that the Jeddah warehouse is fully integrated to provide a supply chain solution that caters to different client needs as “one size does not fit all.”
The integrated supply chain solution offerings by Hala Supply Chain Services include: Procurement, forwarding and clearance, transport, warehousing, asset optimization and the critical need to manage records and data for the clients.
“The new warehouse will not only give us the space we need, but will also allow us to provide our clients with best-in-class warehouse solutions, including online visibility to our clients on their inventory and providing value-added services,” the company said.
It highlighted the importance of well-trained, qualified staff to ensure GWP practices with world-class stock control systems. “Hala SCS aims to reduce logistical costs and simultaneously increase customer service through a process of continuous improvement.”
The new warehouse has been approved by the civil defense and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA). The design of the warehouse takes into consideration the product’s special requirements and also adheres to the global standards of health, safety and best practices.
The press release claimed that Hala SCS was the first company to develop the concept of “in-sourcing,” which resulted in a “true collaborative partnership with our clients.” “This is reflected in the testimonials from our clients, stating that Hala Supply Chain Services is a true extension of our business, taking care to move and store our products in a way to maximize our profits,” the company added.
