Danish Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ole Emil Moesby recently paid a visit to the AVK Saudi Valves Manufacturing Co. factory in Jeddah. The ambassador held talks with the senior management of the company, including Ole Hedegaard, managing director in Middle East; Mads Helge, general manager; and members of the board of directors.

Moesby toured the factory, passing by the production sections and learned about the company’s valves and fire hydrant products. AVK Saudi presented its unique quality systems where every single product is tested before leaving the factory. The ambassador was also briefed on the AVK LEAN project, which is expected to improve the work processes and reduce waste of resources across all departments in the company.

“We highly appreciate the ambassador’s visit to AVK, which underlines the strong cooperation between the Danish government and the Danish private sector. We believe that our joint effort will strengthen the positions of Denmark and AVK, a global frontrunner in providing sustainable high-quality solutions for the water industry in Saudi Arabia, while at the same time continue the investments in a strong local manufacturing setup, which will support the Saudi Vision 2030,” said Helge.
