Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts continues to expand in the Middle East and North Africa as the luxury hospitality brand introduces new hotels in the GCC and beyond.
In the latter half of 2017, Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya, and Four Seasons Hotel Tunis opened their doors. These additions to the Four Seasons collection across the region bring the brand’s total number of MENA hotels to 17, which will rise to 18 following the recent announcement of plans for a second property in Makkah.
“Since Four Seasons arrived in the Middle East in 2000 with our first hotel in Cairo, we have always understood the abundant opportunities this region presents. I’m proud to say this year has been a very strong one for us and we are confident this trajectory will carry forward into next year as we actively explore opportunities in the pipeline. We focus our interest on destinations where Four Seasons guests want to travel, and from this perspective we believe this region is home to a wide variety of locations that hold great potential for our brand,” said Simon Casson, president, hotel operations — Europe, Middle East and Africa.
