DUBAI: A senior Houthi militia field commander was killed in clashes with Yemen’s army in Hodeidah on Tuesday, Saudi state-news agency SPA reported.
Military sources confirmed that the commander, Malik Ali Ahmed Abu Hajjra, was among eight militants killed in the fighting.
Meanwhile, the Yemeni forces – backed by the Arab coalition – advanced toward the center of Durahmi and liberated the neighborhood.
