For the fourth year running, Dar Al-Hekma University (DAH), a leading higher education institution catering to young Saudi women, has organized a creativity week for its new students.
The program was designed by training company Initiativez Group, a team of international and local experts and coaches with considerable global experience of unleashing a person’s creativity and developing personal skills.
The program is in line with Vision 2030, which attaches great importance to nurturing creativity in young Saudis, and consists of a series of training activities that enhance students’ critical thinking, encouraging them to be active participants in their own learning.
The three-day event also aimed to help students develop their leadership skills, practice emotional intelligence, sharpen and polish their communication skills and build on teamwork skills.
Dr. Suhair Al-Qurashi, president of Dar Al-Hekma University, said: “The program highlights the university’s keenness to produce high-caliber creative students who can play an eclectic role in the accomplishment of Vision 2030 objectives, and contribute to the growth of the national economy. It also helps students make the best of their hidden skills.”
The program prepares students to embark on a new chapter of their lives, and to have experience of their own talent with a friendly competition in a spirit of enthusiasm.
The students were introduced to multiple leadership principles, and shown how to develop their skills and effectiveness on a team.
