Swiss watchmaker Swatch has partnered with Italian eyewear company Safilo Group for a new collection of sunglasses — Swatch The Eyes.
“These functional and fashion-forward sunglasses turn heads with eye-catching styles. Double color gradient lenses, printed temples and fluo rims are among the novelties of this new collection for which Swatch has again joined forces with the Italian Safilo group, world leader in the premium eyewear segment,” Swatch said in a statement.
Sunglasses are anything but a mere accessory and the new collection takes this into consideration.
All lenses guarantee 100 percent UV protection and the lightweight polyamide material resists perspiration, chemical products and breakage.
The Italian eyewear creator and Swatch signed a five-year collaboration agreement to develop and manufacture Swatch branded eyewear in 2016.
