LONDON: Huawei has launched Honor 20 globally, the first smartphone put on sale since President Donal Trump blacklisted the company last May.
The company said Honor 20 has shown a record-high sales performance selling more than 1 million units locally in China in just 14 days.
The smartphone had already passed through the Android certification process before Google was forced to stop working with Huawei.
Lauded for its superior design, glass all-screen on the front, metal sides and a glass back, Honor 20 has been also commended on its unmatched photography.
It is a little wider at 74mm than the screen size might suggest – 0.6mm wider than the Huawei P30 Pro with its larger 6.47in screen.
