Mohammed Alhakbani named new Tawal CEO

Saudi ICT infrastructure company Tawal has announced the appointment of Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Alhakbani as chief executive from Jan. 12.

Ameen bin Fahad Alshiddi, chairman of the board of directors of Tawal, said: “On behalf of the board of directors, we are delighted to welcome Mohammed to the company. He is one of the chief experts in the field and we are confident that he will reinforce the company’s leading role in providing integrated ICT infrastructure. We wish him every success in his new position and in enhancing the company’s performance to the highest levels to achieve its goals in supporting the desired digital transformation in the Kingdom, in line with the National Transformation Program 2020 and Vision 2030.”

Alhakabani expressed appreciation to the board of directors for their “confidence and support.”

The new CEO holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in computer engineering from King Saud University. 

He has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications field. Alhakabani has previously worked in several position at the STC.
