SDC, Saudi Arabia’s first discount and subscription-based digital application, is offering businesses free subscriptions for their employees, as part of the company’s CSR initiative and in view of the COVID-19 crisis.
The app (https://app.adjust.com/izrde78) provides offers on various products and services, including restaurants, fashion, fitness, entertainment, clinics, spas, travel and hotels at partnered brands.
The company was co-founded by Abdul Aziz Bugshan, Abdul Qader Alsobaihi and Awadh bin Madhi in 2015.
The app aims to help brands retain customers through discounts and offers while building loyalty and encouraging the habit of saving among customers.
There are more than 60,000 subscribers receiving direct discounts across more than 250 local and international brands operating in the Kingdom.
The company offers a corporates program for business owners so they do not have to spend time and financial capital building an incentive program for their employees.
“The national economy has suffered due to the COVID-19 pandemic and so have businesses. And now with the introduction of 15 percent VAT, we are activating a CSR initiative where we are giving SDC subscriptions for free to corporates, companies, and small and medium businesses. This is doubly beneficial not only to the business but also to the consumer,” said Bin Madhi, co-founder of the SDC app.
“Through this CSR initiative, we managed to get on board not only the Binzagr Group, Johnson Controls and Fakieh Group, but also the Ministry of Commerce. And we’re looking to onboard more businesses to help the community in whichever way we can,” he added.
