Prince Mohammed bin Khaled Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, chairman of the board of directors, STC Group, and Nasser bin Sulaiman Al-Nasser, CEO of STC Group, have congratulated the wise leadership of Saudi Arabia and its people on the occasion of the upcoming third anniversary of the pledge of allegiance to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, deputy prime minister, and minister of defense.
Prince Mohammed bin Khaled said the prestigious position the Kingdom has reached today in all fields is due to the ambitious Saudi Vision 2030 and is a reflection of a path full of giving, reform and achievement led by the crown prince.
“The Saudis and the whole world have witnessed the qualitative and comprehensive reforms in the economic, political, cultural and social fields that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has succeeded in accomplishing so far, in addition to the pioneering future projects that have put the Kingdom on the map of global investments, the Kingdom’s presidency of the G20 Summit, the completion of subscriptions for Aramco’s IPO — the largest in the history — and the Kingdom’s hosting of many global events and tourist seasons in various regions of Saudi Arabia,” he said.
“The remarkable interaction that these seasons witnessed has made the Kingdom a local, regional and global tourist destination, all of which is proof of the success of the national vision, which aims to diversify sources of national income and enhance local content.”
Prince Mohammed bin Khaled also highlighted the Saudi government’s wise management of the coronavirus crisis, which he said is an example to be followed globally. He also underlined the role of the STC, which “harnessed all its capabilities to perform its national mission as a leading digital enabler for various government and private sectors.”
CEO Al-Nasser said the third anniversary of the pledge of allegiance to the crown prince comes at a historical time when the Kingdom is moving fast on the path of development, construction and prosperity, led by the crown prince.
“The Kingdom today occupies an advanced position globally in internet speed, reflected in STC’s internet speed, which is seven times more than its previous speed. Moreover, the number of houses equipped with optical fibers has doubled to 3 million and the Kingdom ranks second in the list of G20 countries for the total allocation of identified frequency bands globally for the provision of mobile telecommunications services,” he added.
Al-Nasser said that the development of the Kingdom’s digital infrastructure and its communications sector under the guidance and leadership of the crown prince has contributed effectively to the containment of the repercussions of the COVID-19 crisis in the country.
“We are proud that we are celebrating the third anniversary of the pledge of allegiance to the crown prince, and we are filled with hope and certainty that we will accomplish more achievements for our beloved homeland,” he added.
