Global Village, the UAE and wider region’s leading multicultural family destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, has revealed one of its latest food concepts for Season 26. Guests with a sweet tooth are set to enjoy the new “Railway Market,” a unique experience that will offer a world of sweets, desserts and baked goods from across Asia and around the world. Inspired by Thailand’s world-famous “Umbrella Market,” the soon-to-be-unveiled Railway Market at Global Village is sure to become a popular attraction.
Muhannad Ishaq, senior manager, guest relations at Global Village, said: “Our park has been a foodie paradise for decades with the unique and diverse food and beverage concepts we offer. The food and beverage options at Global Village attract millions of guests every year. With Season 26 fast-approaching and anticipation building, we are delighted to be able to announce the Railway Market’s arrival at Global Village. We want to give our guests the chance to experience cultural attractions that they may not have a chance to see otherwise, and this is no exception. Everybody loves desserts and this project is one that we believe will become a firm guest favorite this season!” The Railway Market promises to delight guests of all ages, with its unusual theming of 14 train carriages, or “bogies,” which will host more than 30 vendors of sweets, ice cream, pastries, beverages and confectionery of all types. To bring the park’s Railway Market vision to life and introduce memorable new attractions for Season 26, Global Village’s team has been hard at work upgrading infrastructure and planning new experiences.
Global Village will reopen its gates to the world on Oct. 26, and run for 167 consecutive days. Guests and families planning to visit can expect further exciting announcements regarding upcoming events and attractions over the coming period.
