Zagzoog for Home Appliances opened its first KitchenAid showroom in Saudi Arabia. The brand for small appliances has stores across the world, including in the US since 1919.

Yasser Al-Zagzoog said: “The company was keen to bring this American brand to the Saudi market through its agent, the Zagzoog Company for Home Appliances. This was done after a careful study that indicated the ability of this brand to compete and obtain a share in the market owing to its rich experience in the field.”

He added: “The inauguration of the KitchenAid showroom is the first in the series of others that will be opened in the Kingdom. The aim is based on a well-studied strategic plan to expand the marketing of KitchenAid products, as the showroom includes a series of new products characterized by best performance and modern design, in a wide variety of colors to meet the needs of every consumer.”

Zagzoog for Home Appliances was founded in 1959 by Sheikh Suleiman Said Zagzoog. The company has rich experience in the marketing and sale of home appliances for more than 60 years. 

It has 20 branches, 95 showrooms, 20 customer service centers and more than 300 distributors

Zagzoog is the agent and distributor for several brands in Saudi Arabia.

This Ramadan, LEGO Middle East has something special for the whole family. Families across the Kingdom are invited to explore an immersive Arabian souk made entirely out of LEGO bricks. Everything from jewelry to lanterns to spices is made with LEGO’s building blocks.

“Use this special season to explore your creativity and build something that symbolizes the spirit of this special time of year,” a statement said. 

The interactive exhibit runs from March 22-April 20 from 8:30 p.m. till 2:30 a.m. at Mall of Arabia in Jeddah, and Nakheel Mall in Riyadh and Dammam. 

“Don’t miss this unforgettable experience and who knows the kids just might find a magic carpet,” LEGO said.

In February, LEGO Middle East hosted its first-ever event in the Kingdom in Jeddah, titled “The Ever-changing Play Box.”

Designed as a giant LEGO box, visitors got the chance to go inside the oversized box and take a journey of learning, creativity and play. Some of the activities at the event included: an immersive timeline of the LEGO brand; building a giant mosaic flag of Saudi Arabia; guided building area; LEGO brick-built souq, Salwa Palace and mini skyline; digital screen gallery; 360 GIF maker; and photo opportunities.

Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors Co. — Ford, the authorized distributor of Ford and Lincoln cars in the western and southern regions of the Kingdom, announced the reopening of its one-stop center on Al-Haramain Road in Jeddah, after remodeling its internal and external engineering design to keep pace with the new identity of the Ford brand, and to contribute to meeting the needs of Ford customers in the western region.

The new facility, located in the east of Jeddah, boasts a distinguished level of equipment to provide all services to Ford customers under one roof, from individual and corporate sales to various financing and after-sales services such as maintenance and spare parts. The opening of this facility falls within the company’s strategic plan to expand its presence with a modern network of showrooms to keep pace with the development in the transportation sector and the high demand for Ford cars, while providing integrated services that guarantee customer satisfaction and comfort.

The redevelopment of the one-stop center, which covers an area of 878 square meters, began about a year ago, and now has reached its final form, including a modern main showroom equipped to accommodate more than 10 cars. The hall features three popular Ford Raptor models, which are displayed for the first time in one place, namely F-150 Raptor, Bronco Raptor and Ranger Raptor.

The new showroom includes a group of luxury Lincoln models to complete the Ford collection under one roof, in addition to a modern and integrated after-sales service department equipped with state-of-the-art maintenance technologies and a special center for spare parts. 

In his speech at the opening ceremony of the center, Ahmed Al-Kahwaji, managing director of Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors Co. — Ford, said: “The rapid urban development taking place in the western region, especially in the city of Jeddah, on the one hand, and the high demand for Ford cars on the other hand, coinciding with our launch of several new models from Ford cars and trucks, encouraged us to strengthen our presence and implement our strategic plans set by the management to expand and spread in the western and southern regions.

“We are confident that we can develop our services to better serve our customers, as we are committed to providing the best level of services to exceed customers’ expectations to the maximum extent possible.”

Today, we begin by translating this commitment into reopening this integrated center after its modernization, and it shall be followed by opening other new centers.”

Al-Kahwaji said the new center is in line with Ford’s international standards.

Mohamed Yousuf Naghi, the official importer of BMW Group vehicles in Saudi Arabia, launched the BMW XM, representing a fresh interpretation of the sports activity vehicle created out of the groundbreaking fusion of the high-performance BMW M and progressive plug-in hybrid technology.

The first BMW M original since the BMW M1, the new BMW XM is the automotive group’s latest offering in celebration of BMW M’s 50th anniversary, featuring the newly developed M Hybrid drive system, an extravagant design and progressive luxury ambience. BACKGROUND

The first BMW M original since the BMW M1, the new BMW XM is the automotive group’s latest offering in celebration of BMW M’s 50th anniversary.

The M Hybrid drive system in the BMW XM delivers an overall output of 653 hp and is underpinned by a high-revving V8 engine with cutting-edge M TwinPower Turbo technology. The 4.4-liter engine is assisted by an electric motor integrated into the eight-speed M Steptronic transmission, delivering a maximum overall torque of 800 Nm.

The BMW XM sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, accompanied by an energy-charged soundtrack amplified by hexagonal dual tailpipes arranged one above the other for the first time on a BMW M model. Uniquely, the BMW IconicSounds Electric, developed in a collaboration with Hollywood music legend Hans Zimmer, creates a suitable backing track for the electric motor’s power delivery.
