Nespresso, described as the worldwide pioneer in premium portioned coffee, achieves another milestone in its Middle East expansion plan with the opening of its fourth boutique in Saudi Arabia, located at Red Sea Mall in Jeddah. Three other boutiques opened across the Kingdom, in Riyadh in 2011, and in Jeddah and Alkhobar in 2012.
The latest boutique brings the total number of Nespresso Boutiques in the MEAC (Middle East, Africa and Caribbean) region to 32, making MEAC one of the fastest growing regions for Nespresso globally.
The opening of the Red Sea Mall boutique comes on the heels of the launch of Bukeela ka Ethiopia Grand Cru in January. This Grand Cru is a tribute to the sensory finesse of Ethiopian coffee, and a surprising and aromatic addition to the Nespresso Pure Origin range. A dash of milk brings caramel-like notes to the surface without detracting from this exceptional Grand Cru’s distinctively floral character. Prepared as a cafe latte, the Bukeela ka Ethiopia Grand Cru surprises the taste buds with its lightness, touched with hints of sweet biscuit and caramel-like notes.
Nespresso marked the launch of the Red Sea Mall boutique, with an invite-only event at the new boutique. Shaikh Saleh Bin Laden, chairman of Al Soukya International, exclusive distributor of Nespresso in the Kingdom, said: “The exceptional Nespresso experience, combining highest quality coffees, innovative machines and personalized relationships with consumers, continues to stir widespread enthusiasm from coffee lovers throughout the world and now in KSA.”
Pierre Debayle, regional manager of Nespresso Middle East, Africa and Caribbean, said: “After the opening of the Jameel Square boutique in January 2012, the Red Sea Mall boutique is offering to the Nespresso Club Members and to all coffee lovers an additional place to enjoy an ultimate coffee experience.
