Zain KSA has announced the introduction of a new simple, unified flat rate to call any network in the Kingdom for 19 halalas per minute to all on-net and off-net destinations, with no conditions. This represents a 45 percent reduction from Zain’s previous off-net calling rate of 35 halalas.
The new offer follows the decision of the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) to reduce mobile termination rates (MTRs) between telecom companies by 40 percent, Zain KSA stated.
The company added that the new prices will enable subscribers to choose their preferred operator based on network quality and the level of customer care. New and existing customers can find out more about how they can benefit from Khateer, Zain’s new 19 halala flat rate package, by sending 19 to 959, or by calling Zain’s customer care center.
Zain KSA says it believes that CITC’s decision will benefit consumers and encourage fair competition between operators. On behalf of all consumers, Zain hopes for further reductions. Customers will now be able to call anyone for one flat rate of 19 halalas, rather than having to carry multiple handsets to take advantage of on-net promotions.
With its continual focus on core brand values of "excellent customer service and transparency," Zain KSA's customers continue to benefit from the major investment in its leading 4G/LTE network, ensuring a superior customer experience, the company added.
Products of Zain are available from an ever increasing network of its branded shops and from a distribution network that covers the entire Kingdom, the company stated.
