InterContinental Al Jubail has an iftar tent for Ramadan, which holds up to 800 guests.
This year, the tent decorations feature architectural designs of old Asir neighborhoods to add luster to the atmosphere of iftar.
Hotel GM Fahad Al-Sayegh said: "The hotel management seeks to provide an ideal special spiritual atmosphere for Ramadan for families and individuals."
He said the rich Asir decor of the tent aims to show a glimpse of the region that shares a border with Yemen. “We also want to remember our brave soldiers in the southern region and pray for them over the iftar."
He added that the Ramadan tent has become a unique landmark for Jubail over the years. “The hotel always strives to provide high quality, improved services for guests, and host regular seasonal events.”
Al-Sayegh said: "Layaly Asir Ramadan tent provides an authentic iftar experience and a variety of international and oriental dishes, including live cooking station and bread making experience along with Ramadan beverages. Guests at InterContinental Al Jubail can let their children play and be themselves as they enjoy our dedicated kids play area inside the tent," he said.
"The hotel has partnered with Al-Abdulkarim Holding Company and Al-Majdouie Motors to provide a differentiated experience this year in addition to daily raffle draw prizes, including shopping vouchers, local and international airline tickets, and many gift certificates for a complimentary night stay at InterContinental hotels," he said.
Overlooking the Gulf, the hotel is set on a private beach in a peaceful residential area. Amenities include an outdoor pool, tennis courts and a diving center. Perfectly located for business or leisure activities at Al-Huwaylat neighborhood, the hotel is close to Jubail’s business districts, tranquil parks and gold souks, and is the ideal base for boat tours of the Arabian coastline.
