Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza is taking a big part at the New Suez Canal Opening ceremony.

Olivier Masson, GM, Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, will serve up to 6,000 guests; 500 team members have participated in making this happen and 100 chefs joined forces from all Four Seasons Hotels in Egypt.

Ten mega trucks 14 meters each (44 foot each), headed there with all the equipment. The arrangements and figures are a surprise to everyone; “we’re serving 800 kg meat and using for the setup 22,000 pieces of cutlery, 21,000 glasses, 3 tons of ice and have created 960 place mats, especially embroidered with the event logo," the hotel stated.

The hotel added: “It’s an honor to be the official caterer of the New Suez Canal opening ceremony and to be part of the success of this historical event and have our name engraved as part of this enormous event.”

The hotel further stated: “No celebration is complete without some flower arrangements in our hotel lobby, where our talented flowers team decorated the lobby to symbolize the theme of the New Suez Canal. In addition, we offered in-room amenities that show the same theme. The celebration signs were completed with a 90 meter Egyptian flag on the hotel exterior.”
