Batterjee Medical College for Science and Technology (BMC) held the orientation program for its new students for the academic year 2015-2016, which lasted for five days and took place at the college campus in Jeddah.

The program included an open discussion with the dean, vice deans, program heads, and faculty members.

The orientation included information about the college's facilities, vision, mission, objectives, programs, foundation year, policies and procedures and student's activities, and also enlightened students with their rights and duties as college students.

BMC Dean Dr. Osama Kensara in his welcome address wished them a successful and fruitful academic year. He stressed BMC's keenness to support students and expand their knowledge by all means.

He added that a guide booklet, with all essential information about the foundation year, was distributed to all new students to help them overcome any obstacle that might face them and answer their inquiries and concerns to help them choose the program that meets their interests.

Dr. Khaled Batterjee, vice chairman of the college's board of trustees, said that it is one of the college's traditions to welcome new students and orient them through a comprehensive program that covers all that they need to know about their college.

He added that BMC is striving to provide students with a positive environment, highly qualified faculty members and the latest technologies.
