Zain KSA announced the signing of an internal and external mobile network coverage agreement with the Ministry of National Guard’s Health Affairs.

The agreement was signed by Saud Abdullah Al-Bawardi, deputy CEO and chief operations officer in Zain KSA, and Lt. Col. Khaled Saad Al-Shaya, associate executive director of telecommunication in the National Guard Health Affairs.

According to the agreement, Zain will handle all the operation, maintenance, updating and expanding duties for the internal network in all hospitals and medical cities for seven years. In addition, the company will set the infrastructure of 2G, 3G and 4G supporting systems to insure the highest levels of service quality.

As part of the project’s first phase, the company will provide full coverage in buildings at eight different locations in Madinah, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Al-Ahsa.

Zain KSA previously signed an agreement with King Saud University Endowment in Riyadh, to provide telecommunication services for 10 years.
