Al Borg Medical Laboratories, in cooperation with the American diagnostics services provider Quest Diagnostics, have launched Sehaty Blueprint Program — cited as the new concept and third generation of periodic medical/laboratory checks — where an individual can get a comprehensive report on their current health status in addition to a plan for improving their health in the future as well as taking proactive measures to prevent diseases and health problems.
The program includes examining the functioning of body organs and systems such as heart, pancreas, kidneys, liver in addition to other checks based on sex and age.
On the occasion, Dr. Sameh El Sheikh, CEO of Al Borg Medical Laboratories, has said: “We are celebrating today one of our most important health programs, Sehaty Blueprint, which makes an important addition to the advanced medical services delivered by Al Borg Medical Laboratories in Saudi Arabia, Gulf countries and Ethiopia and represents the third generation of periodical medical laboratory checks. We do this in cooperation with the American Quest Diagnostics one of the world’s most important medical laboratories.”
Dr. Hisham Shams, medical director of Al Borg Laboratories, said: “The Sehaty Blueprint program, which we are now launching, will include in its first stage, the age group starting from 18 years from both the sexes. It represents a scientific revolution in the medical analysis arena.”
Al Borg Medical Laboratories Company was established in 1998 as a 100 percent Saudi-owned limited liability company in Jeddah. It is claimed to be the largest private chain of labs in the Gulf with more than 40 branches in the Kingdom and other Gulf countries, and Ethiopia. Thirty of them are in the Kingdom, five in the UAE, two in Qatar and one each in Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, and African branches in countries like Ethiopia.
