More than 120 local, regional and international companies are all set to occupy 4,000 sqm at the 21st annual edition of food, hotel and hospitality arabia exhibition to begin on Monday at the Jeddah Centre for Events and Forums.

The annual event, which will run till May 12, is claimed to have established itself as the sourcing platform in the largest food market in the GCC (74 percent) and with a value that is forecasted to reach $70 billion.

“For the retail, foodservice, catering and hospitality industries, food, hotel and hospitality arabia exhibition presents an incredible sourcing opportunity with hundreds of new product launches, innovations in health, cooking and special diet, and an even wider range of ethnic and specialty foods,” remarked Siddique Zahoor Siddique, VP, Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE).

With its two-decade success story, food, hotel and hospitality arabia has become a regular event in the calendar of local and international companies and this year has the presence of leading Saudi companies and national pavilions from China, Egypt, Turkey, Indonesia and South Africa alongside individual participation from India, Lebanon, Malaysia, Morocco, Pakistan the UAE and the United States, he added.

In addition, the show will be satisfying the palates of the huge number of professional and end-user visitors to explore what will next be available in the market.

International gastronomical experiences will be the regular feature hosting cuisine from different countries of the world at the Jeddah Open Cooking Championship having the participation of local and international chefs and adjudicated by a panel of renowned judges. Coupled with this will be the feature of fine art of table display competition at the Art de Table event.

The show, open daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., is for businessmen and professionals only.
