Samsung Electronics has announced the arrival of its new Galaxy S7 & S7 edge with dual sim capabilities across Saudi Arabia. The devices have the exact features as the single sim phones unveiled at the beginning of 2016.
Feri Zekisson, head of IT and mobile department at Samsung Electronics in Saudi Arabia, stated: “The launch of Galaxy devices S7 and Galaxy S7 edge with the dual sim capabilities comes within the framework of the ongoing development provided by Samsung for its customers as they are fond of smart and sophisticated devices, especially those that offer two sims in one phone. Samsung provides that through a facilitated process, thus giving customers the freedom of choice of which sim card to have as their main sim as well as managing their own data usage for each segment separately.”
The sim card tray works in a hybrid manner where it allows users to insert a microSD card for up to 200GB of additional storage or a second nano sim tray allowing users the ease of convenience to be connected on both inserted sim cards rather than having them in two separate phones.
The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge devices have seen rapidly growing demand since their introduction this year. The eight-core processor allows the devices to perform tasks, and application related functionality quickly and with the highest quality. Without compromising design, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge both have increased utility with IP68 water and dust resistance.
The all new smart phones feature a front 5MP and back 12MP camera and introduces the first dual pixel camera on a smart phone, delivering brighter and sharper images, even in low light. The camera has a faster shutter speed and a more accurate autofocus even in low-light conditions.
