Panda Retail Company recently joined hands with Ebsar Foundation to host a visit for a group of children with visual impairment to one of its hypermarkets at Al Andalus Mall.
The visit comes in line with the company’s We Are All Equal initiative that seeks to integrate children with special needs into the society and help them utilize their skills and capabilities effectively, underlining Panda’s CSR and its efforts to promote social solidarity.
During the visit, Ebsar Foundation was represented by its Acting Secretary General Fatin Al-Yaffi. A Panda team took the children around on a tour around the different departments in the hypermarket and explained to them how work is performed within each department.
Following the orientation tour, various entertainment activities were organized for the children while souvenirs were handed out to put a smile on their faces and make them happy.
Muwaffaq Mansour Jamal, CEO, Panda Retail Company, said: “I express my deepest appreciation for the work done by Ebsar Foundation, which supports children with visual impairment, and integrates them into the society to enable them to enjoy a better life. Undoubtedly, such visits enhance their sense of belonging to the community.”
