VINCENT Gillet has been named vice president marketing for Infiniti effective September. In this global role, Gillet will be based at the company’s global headquarters in Hong Kong and report to Johan de Nysschen, president of Infiniti Motor Company Ltd.

Gillet has 20 years of marketing experience with leading premium brands across the retail, beverages, and hospitality industries, such as Chanel and LVMH. Most recently, he has been senior vice president and global brand leader for both the W and the Le Meridien hotels at the Starwood group.

“Vincent Gillet is an entrepreneurial and creative marketing executive with a deep understanding of premium brands and customers,” said de Nysschen. “He will further strengthen Infiniti’s creative intuition and bring thought leadership to the team. We have ambitious objectives to become a compelling premium brand that offers a provocative alternative to the existing premium brands. Vincent’s leadership will be key in our positioning of the brand and communication with our customers.”

Gillet, 41, is a French national. During his career, he has gained far-reaching international experience from living and working in the UK, Asia and the United States. Gillet started his work experience with the premium business at Chanel in 1993. He joins Infiniti from Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Gillet, a graduate of ISC Business School in Paris, is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
