MUMBAI: Last year, the catastrophic clash of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Dilwale’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ affected the collection of both films. This year, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ is all set to clash with Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ on Eid but we heard our King Khan is leaving no stone unturned to avert the ‘Raees’-‘Sultan’ clash.

After a series of searing reviews and regular negative word-of-mouth, ‘Dilwale’ failed to perform as per expectations at the box-office, while ‘Bajirao Mastani’ kept the cash registers ringing.

Also, the grapevine got a whiff when the makers of ‘Raees’ looked perturbed after seeing Salman’s power-packed trailer of ‘Sultan’ this week, which might have led them to push their release date.

A chirpy birdie said that ‘Raees’ might get postponed by at least two weeks. If this one is true then the Badshah Khan starrer will now take on either Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Dhishoom’ or Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’ with Hrithik Roshan.

But wait! Rumor is also that the megastar is now eyeing his favorite Diwali slot. However, Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hain Mushkil’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ has already reserved their release on Diwali.

SRK is likely to ask Karan to move his film to another slot. An insider to Dharma Productions said, “Knowing Karan and his devotion to his big brother, he won’t hesitate to give up his date. He has always maintained that SRK is family and no sacrifice is big for family.” Will he? Well, only time will tell.
