JUBAIL: About 150 productive families participated in the heritage and craft festival here organized by the Royal Commission for Jubail (RCJ) to showcase their products and services, including hand-made items, accessories, household utensils, cosmetics, Gulf-inspired fashion and gems.

The 10-day event had a pavilion for popular dishes, cooked according to the public health standards of the RCJ. It also included more than 20 handicrafts at the Heritage Village, including ship items, boxes, baskets, beads and heritage sculptures, fishing nets, pottery and Bahraini sweets.

A delegation of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTNH), represented by the National Program for the Development of Handicrafts and Industries (Baree), visited the festival to register the participating craftsmen and artisans.

The festival supports and encourages productive families, highlighting the RCJ’s social responsibility, which embraces ancient cultures and civilizations, and assists in providing tourism and entertainment marketing at Jubail Industrial City.
