JEDDAH: The Bangladesh International School Jeddah-English Section (BISJ-ES) celebrated the IGCSE exam results and honored the outstanding students at a ceremony recently.

Plaques and certificates were awarded to all the successful students of CIE, IGSCE and A-level exams of 2015.

Nearly 120 boys and 98 girls received awards on the Graduation Day in the presence of over 400 students, teachers and parents.

Bangladesh Consul General A.K.M. Shahidul Karim was the chief guest and S.J. Abdullah, head of protocol affairs division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was the guest of honor. Consul Mohammed Reza-e-Rabbi was a special guest.

Among the prominent invitees were Giashuddin Mahmood, Yahia Chowdhury, Mohammed Elias, Mahbubullah, Atiqul Islam Alvi, Musa Khan and Rumi Sayeed.

Principal Abdul Baqui Mohammed welcomed the guests, parents and students, and the nine achievers of IGCSE May-June exam 2015.

“It is a privilege to be present with you as principal of BISJ-ES. We are grateful to all our guests for being here among our students. Credit also goes to our work supervisor and his team for their endless work to produce the results that deserve this celebration,” he said.

“I congratulate my vice principal and all ICT teachers for their contribution. Our school has an outstanding reputation and I am proud to be part of such a wonderful celebration,” he said.

The consul general congratulated the students, teachers and parents for their hard work, good performance and high score, especially of the nine high achievers of IGCSE Exam 2015.

He advised the students to continue their hard work because it will help them in their career.
