JEDDAH: The Cabinet expressed the Saudi Arabia’s appreciation to allies and all those who expressed their full support for the decision of the Kingdom to halt its scheduled aid for arming the Lebanese army and the remaining of the aid allocated to Lebanese Internal Security forces due to Lebanese stances against the Saudi Arabia’s honorable positions keen on all matters that achieve Lebanon's security and stability.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, who chaired the meeting, briefed the cabinet on discussions with the leaders of Turkey and Russia on regional issues.

The Cabinet also expressed strong condemnation of the terror attack that took place in Ankara, reconfirming the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's firm positions on rejecting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

The current Raad Al-Shamal milatry exercises were also praised by the cabinet as well as the recent meeting of GCC information ministers and its emphasis on the importance of activating the role of media agencies and the implementation of joint integrated plans to make the media a major supporter of political action.
