JEDDAH: The National Center for Assessment and Evaluation is working toward implementation of a new scale to gauge the strengths and weaknesses of those who want to get married.

The criteria are known as the "scale of preparedness for family," according to an online newspaper.

In its annual report for the financial year 1435/1436, the center said that it had a project which strengthens aspects and cures the weaknesses of men and women using various methods, including personality reading, training and treatment programs.

The center, in its report, said that the new scale is compatible with the local environment and is a social responsibility of the center. This initiative addresses requirements which have become more important than before. This project is unique and unprecedented in the Arab world.

The scale is about the positive development of youth with six characteristics including confidence, capability, personality, care for others, communication and contribution.
