Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Osama bin Ahmad Al-Sanousi said yesterday that the ministry is keen on mitigating any hardship facing Arab and foreign embassies as they race against time to correct the status of workers before the July 3 deadline.

During a press conference attended by representatives of 12 foreign missions, he pointed out that Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal had given directions to help overcome any obstacles in their efforts to rectify the status of laborers in the Saudi job market.

Al-Sanousi described the meeting as fruitful. Participants expressed their thanks and gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah for his assistance in easing the process.

Al-Sanousi said the Labor Ministry will coordinate with the Interior Ministry and the Passport Department to resolve any issue that might hamper the correction process.
