DUBAI: Sayidaty magazine won three international awards from the International Federation of Journalists (WAN-IFRA) for its digital innovations in Dubai recently.

It won gold for “Sayidaty Kitchen Application” as the best lifestyle and entertainment application for smartphones, silver for “Sayidaty Mall” as the best new electronic product, and bronze for “Sayidaty Net” as the best lifestyle, entertainment and communal website in the Middle East.

Editor in Chief Mohammed Fahad Al-Harthi, who was presented with the awards, said this showed the magazine’s continued commitment to constant innovation in its media products.

Al-Harthi said the magazine’s offerings were centered on the needs of its readers with a focus on fashion, style, beauty, medicine, science, health and fitness for the Arab family, woman and man who have their own individual styles and tastes.

Sayidaty, meaning “My Lady” in English, is a weekly Arabic and monthly English magazine distributed throughout the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and America.

Sayidaty is one of the most successful magazines published by Saudi Research and Publishing Company, a subsidiary of Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG), which also publishes Arab News.
