Al-QASSIM: Following a man-hunt that lasted eight hours, security forces on Friday killed the six Daesh members who killed Sgt. Badr Al-Rashidi in a mountainous region in Almustajadah village in the Gazelle area of Hail.

Bandar Al-Rashidi, the brother of Sgt. Badr, said: “We are filled with joy after receiving the news that we have been waiting for for the last 25 days. My mother used to say that those who killed my brother will get their punishment both here and in the hereafter."

Al-Rashidi thanked the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman. He also thanked Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, as well as the brave security forces for their efforts in defeating deviant thoughts and people who seek to harm the Kingdom.

Hani Al-Ghamdi, a psychologist and expert in family and community affairs, said that justice will always prevail no matter how long it takes. “What we have seen was a victory for the spirit of the slain martyr. Those who committed this heinous crime represent a group that embraces pre-Islamic ignorance, killing their own flesh and blood. Such crimes are not accepted by Allah the Almighty. Such culprits live under the thought of crime and the banners of other criminals who, with their sick minds and empty thinking, bring disgrace and shame upon themselves.
