Cool Guys are not done yet in their dominating display in the Overseas Filipino Bowlers Club (OFBC) 4 + 1 Friday Afternoon League First Season at IN-10-SO lanes in Serafi Megamall here.

Cool Guys turned the 14th session into yet another show of power, winning their second back-to-back Team of the Week accolades and lacing it up with their third perfect score of 30 points in the 20-0 shutout of Yanbu 4ever on total pinfalls of 2,396-2,024 and rank points of 10 and 1.

Overall, Cool Guys now have five Team of the Week titles under their belt, the most by any team in the competition organized by OFBC chaired by Joel Nidoy in cooperation with IN-10-SO bowling manager Hani “King” Al Touhki.

Like the previous week Cool Guys took home half of the individual award after Eidris Mangoda emerged the men’s Bowler of the Week. To Malou Nidoy of RJ Transient Houses went Bowler of the Week for the ladies side on 538 (171, 127,165).

Mangoda followed the lead of teammate and the previous week’s individual awardee Salic Mudag, shooting the high series of 658 on games of 162, 225, 166 at the head of the Cool Guys charge that also featured 629 from Mudag himself, 562 from Med Ramos, 146-145 fromGeorge Mangaliman and 161 from Sol Cuenca.

PCG-Jeddah came up with 29 points and could have won its first Team of the Week award had Cool Guys not intervened, as it really looked good in a 20-0 upset of fancied Makatifoods Pinbusters on total pinfalls of 2,331-2,152 and rank points of 9 and 5.

Joel Alegre and Allan Salamanes took charge at PCG with rounds of 590 and 573, while team captain Caloy Naguit, Hamdan Sayedy and Errol Reyes each drilled two games of 155-157, 200-168 and 143-155.

With Hadi Pacheco 547 and Jack Jarin 471 joining Malou as the players to roll three-game series, RJ Transient Houses blasted Ric Reformado’s Lance & 3rdy 18-9 on total pinfalls of 2,181-2,063, rank points of 7-2 and for total points of 25. Lance could only muster 4 points in the lopsided match.

Rudy Jamon (190-160) and Ding Dela Rosa (145-220) were the other scorers at RJ.

In other matches, Fed & AAA whipped Current Bowlers 16-4 (2,184-2,162; 8-6) while The Transferee score a 14-6 victory over The Youngsters on identical total pinfalls of 2,109 and identical rank points of 3.5. The Transferee totaled 17.5 points to Youngsters’ 9.5.

Fed & AAA ended up with 24 points on the day thanks mainly to Rudy Valenzuela and Khalid Bustinera who rolled 597 and 550. Ed Cordova added 495 while Fedelyn Bustinera made 142-189 and Mia Cedotes 109. At The Transferee of Alona Antinero Akang Victorino and Tito Cruz led the way with 514 and 503. Joey Calapatia contributed 206-147, Conrad Baltazar 121-152 and Jhun Estefano 172.
