PRETORIA: A South African judge ruled Tuesday that media may film and broadcast parts of Paralympic star Oscar Pistorius’s murder trial which starts next week, a year after he shot dead his girlfriend.

“The applicants... are permitted to set up equipment in accordance to specifications... to obtain a video and audio recording of the permitted portions,” said Judge Dunstan Mlambo.
